Rio InTouch Short Head Spey

The RIO InTouch Short Head Spey is an incredibly high versatile Spey fly line that gives easy casting and reliable performance.

This line is perfect for any Spey angler who wishes to move from Scandi and Skagit head styles of casting and for those who want to cast with larger flies or tips. The line has mainly been designed for short sized of Spey rods and fishing in smaller environments. 

The rear end of the line has loaded weight distribution and the short head both help to load rods easily for improved casts, especially in the way of obstacles behind you.

The Short Head Spey has a super low stretch core for excellent efficiency due to RIO’s infamous ConnectCore technology. It also features XS technology coating to give slickness, dirt repelling properties that help improve durability and reliability. To increase the line’s durability and slickness even further, an additional AgentX coat is added which also enhances overall performance.

The line features an integrated running line, floating body and detachable 15ft floating tip, also known as a Versitip. This allows you to change the tip from floating to intermediate or sinking by choosing one of the RIO Versitip’s of your choice (supplied separately). This advantageous feature will help your line adapt easily to different water conditions and is what provides this line with ultimate versatility.

The RIO InTouch ShortHead Spey is a traditional Spey style fly line that will provide you with easy and effortless casting. This is an essential line to have loaded onto your reel whenever you’re off out to fish at smaller rivers.
